Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: $19.00 – 27.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Group Insurance Benefits
Location: Ontario, British Columbia
Education: Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.) : not required
Experience: 3 years+
Languages: Speak English, Read English
Responsibilities:
– Follow the policies and procedures laid out in the Company’s Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Policy Manual to ensure company is in full compliance with the current Canadian Aviation Regulations;
– Be responsible to their assigned Charge Hand;
– Dismantle, inspect, record discrepancies, recommend and record methods of repair;
– Repair, fabricate parts and components;
– Install, rig and carry out all other mechanical and structural functions and test in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications;
– Ensure that all applicable standards of airworthiness are met;
– Maintain a clean work area, and alert the Supervisor of any safety concerns;
– Responsible for ensuring both accuracy and traceability of parts removed or installed on Aircraft;
– For those AME’s possessing certifying authority, perform and/or certify work performed within the scope of this Aircraft Maintenance Organization;
– Preform any other work assigned.
Qualifications:
– Aircraft Mechanic Levels 1 through 3 shall:
– Be responsible for signing release of any and all work performed;
– Supervise any assigned Learners and be able to inspect and certify their work;
– Be able to successfully plan and estimate a repair project;
– Possess knowledge expected of an Aircraft Avionics and Electronics Technician on aircraft types handled by the Company.
