SALARY RANGE:$14.84 – $18.55 per hour

Must adhere to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, and other applicable municipal, provincial and federal laws and regulations. Assist in maintaining good public relations with patrons and employees. Comply with safety and security standards of the corporation and complying with pre-determined internal control procedures. Is responsible to collect, sort, wrap, count and process coin or tokens from slot machines or other gaming revenue sources in a safe and accurate manner.
Major Responsibility Areas:
Coordinate the Coin Drop, Cash Drop, Coin Processing, and Cash Processing with the applicable Security/Surveillance/Count Supervisor, according to established departmental Internal Control Manual Regulations.
Strictly adhere to departmental rules and regulations regarding handling of all tokens/cash.
Interact with patrons to assure that no patron is in the vicinity of the drop and the Coin/Cash Drop can proceed as scheduled.
Report any malfunctioning equipment to the appropriate slot technical staff.
Transfer of money to and from Main Bank to various areas on the gaming floor.
Maintain, fill and oversee change machines as required.
Fill auxiliary box of slot machines as required to maintain efficient gaming for patrons.
Promote and maintain the utmost integrity and the highest caliber of customer service and respect to all patrons, employees and OLG personnel.
Maintain general awareness of gaming operation at all times and comply with security policies and procedures in order to secure company assets.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Comply with safety procedures including use of required safety equipment and identify unsafe practices or conditions.
Additional or different responsibilities or duties, which are consistent with the position summary, may be assigned at the discretion of position’s supervisor.
Requires a high school diploma or comparable combination of equivalent working experience and education.
Requires experience in the related field of one (1) or more years.
Possess organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills. Require good hand-eye coordination, strong mathematical ability, work in a physically demanding area and be familiar with a high-volume fast paced multi tasking environment. A strong knowledge of cash, foreign currency and other settlement types is also required.
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registration:
Required Registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant through the AGCO.
