Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver’s Licence (Class 3 or D), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration (CVOR) Certificate
Experience: 5 years or more
Languages: Speak English

Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Accident or incident reports
Communication Equipment Experience: Citizens band (CB) radio, Cellular phone

Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport loose material (such as sand, gravel, or dirt), Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Use atlases and other trip planning aids, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract)
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
Transportation/Travel Information: Not required
