Terms of Employment: Full Time, Overtime
Salary: $75,000/Annually
Work Hours: full time, 40hours/week
Location: British Columbia , Alberta
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
Experience: 5 years +

Responsibilities:
– Geotechnical Project Engineering and/or Project Management role on a wide variety of transportation, industrial and resource related projects in diverse terrain and geological conditions
– Preparing designs and reports for geological/geotechnical related projects which meet stakeholders’ requirements.
– Materials engineering, pavement design with pavement management systems would be an asset
– Preparation of proposals and assisting with business development, and assisting management as needed for planning and marketing initiatives
– Supervising junior staff and contractors on relevant projects
Qualifications:
– University degree in Geotechnical/Geological Engineering, or Civil Engineering with a geotechnical concentration,
– with minimum 5 years’ progressive experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
– Registration as a P.Eng. in BC, or eligible for registration
– Familiarity with computer modeling programs used to develop designs; knowledge of AutoCAD
– Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is an asset
– Organized, good written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, good attendance, problem solving skills, and general computer knowledge
