Record Alert – Recently, the Canadian government set a new record by inviting 1070 PNP candidates, breaking the previous record of 1036 PNP candidates to apply for permanent residency via Express Entry.
These provincial nominees now have 60 days in hand to apply for permanent Canadian residency.

This led to a significantly higher score in the Express Entry draws program this year.
Without the nomination, provincial nominees only need to score 74 CRS points for the Express Entry draws 2022.

Recently, the IRCC came with a briefing note suggesting that Canada is ready to hold Express Entry draws for FSWP and CEC candidates until half of the blockage application gets clearance.
However, the immigration department hopes for the immigration processing period to return to six months. In contrast, the IRCC memo mentioned the due time required for FSWP candidates (20 months) and CEC candidates (8 months).
The Canadian government is indeed in action mode regarding the immigration process blockage clearance.
In a recent meet-up with the Canadian Bar Association (CBA), the Canadian immigration minister Fraser stated that the IRCC is working on bringing the best possible solution of holding Occupation Focused Express Entry draws.
The minister made it clear to the IRCC official to fulfill the labor market need by processing those candidates’ applications on Express Entry draws who meet all the requirements.

SO, WHAT IS EXPRESS ENTRY?
